This self-arranged cover of an anime song depicts a young man overcoming tragedy, a theme that resonates with me deeply. I recorded myself playing piano and violin separately, then combined the videos to form the soundtrack. The piano carries the melody, while the violin builds dramatic climax in the introduction and bridge. Though imperfect as my first multi-instrumental arrangement, I aimed to infuse empathy into each note by blending the mournful piano with the violin's soaring cries. Music is my solace, and through this piece, I share how life's trials may wound us but the human spirit can continue shining. Each time I perform it, I discover new nuance and comfort in the lyrics about persevering through sorrow. This process of creation and discovery inspires me to keep exploring how music and storytelling intertwine to reflect the realities of life back to us.
